Good Causes

Below are my 2 charities that I have been supporting for several years now. Dogs have always been a passion for me and therefore I was delighted to be a part of The Dog Trouble Foundation.

Having lived in Surrey most of my life, I was keen to support a local charity. The Fountain Centre offers such valuable support that I felt privileged to be asked to be a patron.

Dog Trouble Foundation

good causes

Dog Trouble Foundation was established by my good friend Jo Cottrell, a dog behaviourist and owner of Dog Trouble, a behaviour, training and wellness centre set up to rescue, re-habilitate, and re-home pre-owned or rescued dogs. The foundation also rescues dogs from Zakinthos Greece. I have been an Ambassador for 6 years and support the charity yearly by judging at the Family Fun Dog show which is a great day out.

The Fountain Centre

foundation centre

The Fountain Centre is a charity for cancer patients and their families, located in St Luke’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. They offer advice, counselling and a huge range of complementary therapies in a calming and relaxed atmosphere.
I have been a patron of the charity since I hosted a fashion show on their behalf in 2009 and first visited the centre in 2010. I am proud of being a part of this pioneering enterprise and realise that the gentle complementary therapies available to patients are a wonderful addition to the orthodox medical approach to the treatment of cancer.
I have supported the charity over the years by offering a behind the scenes ‘meet and greet’ for supporters at the Woking theatre after my show. Hosted a ‘selfie’ opportunity in Guildford and donated winnings from ITV’s Mr&MRS.
